Hi everyone, This is one message I send with great sadness. You'll remember my last message? Having visited Spain, Sengal and Antarctica, me and the crew were really proud of our treasure trawls and had many piles of gold, silver and ginormous jewels which we were bringing back to show you in next few days.. Remember we were on our way to Australia, our final stop before sailing home again? Last thing I know you'll remember - Wild Eyed Jack and his crew were circling us and we were on high alert... Our stop off in Australia was another huge success, treasure wise.. We followed the map across the bushland, overcoming an alligator but losing one of our men in the snake pit. This was a real shock to us all but we had no choice but to carry on, get the treasure and head back to the ship. We left our treasure on the beach and gathered the whole crew to help us go back and get Patch out of the snake pit, as we didn't want to leave him.. We managed to get him out, but he was desperately ill.. We rushed him back to the ship and made an AWFUL discovery.. ALL THE TREASURE HAD GONE... Every last little bit of it. Every coin from the beach. Every jewel hidden below the deck. Every piece of gold and every piece of silver. Gone. I didn't think I would ever see grown men cry, but 23 men stood on deck this morning and cried.. We know who was behind it, of course, and we vowed to get old Wild Eyed Jack and his crew back... But we were all so exhausted, and shattered by poor Patches awful injuries, we couldn't stop ourselves. We set sail immediately, homeward bound. I cannot believe we are heading home with nothing, but what can we do?I contacted the police, who said that they would need a full description of Wild Eyed Jack and his crew - but we have no paper or pens on board so wondered if you could take care of that for me? This is him and his trusty crew... Awful men who have never done an honest days work in their lives...
I would also appreciate it if you would drop my mum a line. It is her birthday, so will you send her a card or two from me, and make sure she knows I am OK... Speak soon, J X
